The Flat-Coated Retriever is an exuberant, playful, and happy breed full of sweetness and devotion. This retriever is not as well known as the other band of retrievers, especially the golden retriever and the Labrador retriever. 

the Flat-Coated retriever is the one that stays the youngest the longest, perhaps not in body, but in spirit.

The Flat-Coated Retriever is an active, energetic, jack-of-all-trades breed. They were originally bred for hunting and retrieving and do quite an excellent job.

The Curly-Coated retriever has no undercoat and this is the retriever that sheds the least.

The Flat-Coated retriever can be prone to a few health problems and some are eye-related. Although you’ll never see a Flat-Coat or any other dog with glasses, eye issues that may develop can affect their vision.
